November's Movie Night is Nov. 16th at 7 pm. The film follows
the life of Homer Wells (Tobey Maguire), a precocious orphan who
leaves his lifelong home and his loving tutor, Dr. Larch (Michael
Caine) to explore the world. While Homer struggles to make a life
for himself on his own, he must make monumental decisions that
will change the course of his future and deeply affect the lives of
those around himBring a comfy cushion and your favourite
beverage and snacks. We will supply popcorn and cookies. No
charge but donations towards DRA programs are always
appreciated.
The Dunvegan Recreation Association is holding its Annual General Meeting on November 15th starting at 6 pm
with a potluck supper.
It is an election year. Please consider volunteering to serve on the Board or just signing up to volunteer for DRA
events and let's make this the best community in Eastern Ontario.
What does the DRA do?
To name just a few activities from the last year: Community breakfast and Winter Carnival, monthly movie night,
soccer, Meet me on Main Street, Halloween Party for families, maintenance of our wonderful hall for private,
DRA and not for profit events, food services for a number of Glengarry Pioneer Museum events, Crokinole and
Taffy night, CPR courses...
This is your community. Please join us on the 15th, and bring your favourite dish!!
